Roof Replacement at Dwight D Eisenhower Elementary School

Background
The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) is seeking bids for the roof replacement project at Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School, located at 3700 Tall Pines Dr., New Orleans, LA 70131. This project aims to enhance the infrastructure of the school, ensuring a safe and functional environment for students and staff. The contract will be awarded based on the bids received by the Procurement Department.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the complete replacement of the roof at Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School. Contractors must be licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for Building Construction classification. Bidders are required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(a). All bids must include bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or an approved bid bond.

The successful bidder will also need to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount.

Period of Performance
The bids are due by 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The exact period of performance for the contract will be determined upon award but is expected to commence shortly after this date.
