Riverbend Oxidation Pond Sewer Pump Station and Force Main Package 2 Pump Station #LAWSP 10757

The work requested under this contract involves providing all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to construct force mains and a pump station at multiple locations within St. Bernard Parish. The purpose of this project is to facilitate the transfer of sewer flows from the Riverbend Oxidation Pond to the Munster Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Specific tasks include the construction of a new pump station and various site improvements at the Riverbend Oxidation Pond. Additionally, a new force main will be built extending west from the Riverbend Oxidation Pond to the Violet Canal, crossing the Violet Canal to reach the site of the decommissioned Violet WWTP. Another new force main will be constructed from the north end of Debouchel Boulevard at the 40 Arpent Canal, running west to the Munster WWTP site to connect with the existing infrastructure. St. Bernard Parish Government, through its Department of Public Works in the State of Louisiana, is the entity requesting these services under project number #LAWSP 10757. The background of this contract centers on the need to upgrade and expand the Parish's sewer infrastructure to ensure efficient transfer and treatment of wastewater, specifically by linking the Riverbend Oxidation Pond to the Munster WWTP via new pump stations and force mains. The contract requirements specify that all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the described work must be furnished by the contractor. Bids must be received during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) and no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Sealed bids delivered to any other location or room number prior to the bid receipt deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened and publicly read at 2:00 p.m. on the same day at the specified address.
