RFP - Large Lift Station Cleaning

Background
The St. Tammany Parish Government, through its Department of Utilities, is seeking proposals for Large Lift Station Cleaning Services. This initiative aims to ensure the proper maintenance and cleaning of two lift stations located within the Parish, which are essential for wastewater management and public health. The contract is intended to engage qualified providers who can deliver these services effectively.

Work Details
The Provider shall supply all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and transportation for cleaning two large lift stations:

1) Faubourg Lift Station at 69421 Highway 1077, Madisonville, LA (8 ft diameter, 12 ft depth, capacity of 4,515 gallons);

2) Castine Lift Station at 2893 McDonald Street, Mandeville, LA (9 ft diameter, 14 ft depth, capacity of 5,645 gallons).

The scope includes:
- Major Cleaning: Pressure washing walls and removing all contents (wastewater, grease, debris) using a vacuum truck. Major cleanings are limited to a maximum of eight (8) per site per calendar year.
- Routine Cleaning: Removal of surface floatables and site wash down as needed with a maximum of fifty-two (52) cleanings per site per calendar year.

The Provider must handle transportation and disposal of all materials removed from the lift stations to an authorized site. Compliance with federal and state regulations is mandatory.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the Notice to Proceed until December 31, 2026. There is an option to extend for two additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the following locations:
1) Faubourg Lift Station - 69421 Highway 1077, Madisonville, LA
2) Castine Lift Station - 2893 McDonald St., Mandeville, LA

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be licensed to do business in Louisiana and in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State. They must provide proof of authorization by regulatory agencies for transporting sewage waste and declare their ultimate disposal site. Additionally, Proposers should include an inventory of equipment they will use for the service.
