RFP# 41-25 Voice over Internet Protocol Phone Service

The Lafayette Parish School System is seeking proposals for the provision of a hosted, SIP-based, unified communications system to deliver Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Phone Service, as outlined in RFP# 41-25. The work of the contract involves supporting approximately 3,000 users across 50 district facilities, with requirements that the solution be compatible with existing SIP-compatible handsets, allow for porting of current DiD blocks, and adhere to open standards. The vendor must ensure the system meets operational needs such as voicemail, voicemail-to-email, fax-to-email, mobile integration, and tiered user functionality. Additionally, the proposal must include a comprehensive migration plan, per-seat pricing with helpdesk/support, a turnkey installation approach, and provide thorough administrator training and documentation. The Lafayette Parish School System, through its Purchasing Department located at 202 Rue Iberville, Lafayette, LA 70508, is the requesting agency for this contract. Proposals must be delivered in sealed form exclusively to the Purchasing Department, as delivery to any other department may result in non-consideration. Sealed proposals will be accepted until July 28, 2025, at 10:00 am CDT. Optional site visits can be scheduled during the week of July 14 18, 2025. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by July 21, 2025, with responses posted by July 24, 2025. The selected vendor will be announced at the LPSS Board Meeting on August 14, 2025.
