Background
St. John the Baptist Parish is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified companies to provide Information Technology Services. The Parish has approximately 200 users in a Windows Active Directory environment across multiple locations connected via site-to-site VPNs.
The internal IT department will handle most day-to-day tasks, while the selected vendor will provide additional technical support, assistance, hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and training as needed. Work Details
The selected vendor will provide the following services:
- Technical support and assistance for hardware and software issues.
- System maintenance and training for Parish employees on an as-needed basis.
- Managed Service Provider (MSP) services to assist in administration and billing for subscription-based products such as Office 365, backup solutions, and anti-virus software.
- Collaboration with the Parish IT Department to ensure effective support across various locations.
- Compliance with all applicable state and local laws regarding technology services.
Period of Performance
The contract will be for a five-year period starting from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with an option to renew in one-year increments upon mutual agreement.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including:
- Statutory Workman’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance with limits of $1 million per occurrence.

- Comprehensive Automobile Liability covering all vehicles used by the contractor.
