Removal and Disposal of Junk Vehicles

Background
The City of New Orleans, through its Department of Public Works, is seeking to contract a provider for the removal and disposal of junk vehicles. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of life for citizens by addressing the presence of junk and nuisance vehicles on public streets.

The Department is responsible for maintaining the city's public infrastructure, which includes over 1,500 miles of streets and various drainage systems.

Work Details
The contractor will be required to provide comprehensive services for the removal and disposal of junk vehicles as specified in Attachment A of the RFP. This includes identifying, towing, and properly disposing of vehicles deemed junk or nuisance according to city regulations.

The contractor must also ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding vehicle disposal.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to continue for a term specified in the final agreement, with performance evaluations conducted periodically.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of New Orleans, Louisiana.
