Purchase of Stationary Emergency Standby Flood Control Pump

Background
The Jefferson Parish Department of Drainage is seeking to procure a stationary emergency standby flood control pump to enhance its drainage capabilities.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that the department has reliable equipment available for flood control operations, particularly during emergencies.

Work Details
The contract involves the fabrication, delivery, and acceptance of one (1) new stationary, standby, flood control, 12” diesel powered, skid mounted trash pump.
Key specifications include:
- Basis of Design: Global Pump model 12GSTAPICT4S1SG.
- The pump must be capable of running dry for up to 24 hours at full speed and must feature an efficient, non-clog enclosed two-vane impeller type with replaceable wear rings.
- It shall include a fully automatic compressor-driven venturi air ejector priming system that does not require pre-filling with water.
- The casing must be cast iron with an axial alignment for suction flow and include a hand-hole cleanout.
- The engine must be a Tier 4 diesel engine with a minimum horsepower of 174 HP at 2200 RPM.
- Delivery includes all pumping equipment, piping, appurtenances, and mechanical systems as specified.
Vendor must provide operation and maintenance manuals upon delivery.

Period of Performance
The total delivery time from the date the vendor receives the purchase order shall not exceed sixty (60) calendar days.

Place of Performance
Pumping units along with all piping, controls, flanges, and accessories are to be delivered to the Ames pump station warehouse at 5100 Rochester Drive, Marrero Louisiana.
