Phase 2 Renovations At The New Iberia Pepperplex

The City of New Iberia is seeking sealed bids for Phase 2 renovations at the New Iberia Pepperplex. The work involves general construction as specified in the contract documents for the continued development and improvement of the Pepperplex facility, located at 607 Sucrose Drive, New Iberia, LA 70560. The City of New Iberia is the requesting agency for this solicitation. Bids must be received by the City of New Iberia no later than 2:00 PM CST on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025. Bids can be mailed to the City of New Iberia, Attn. City Clerk, or delivered to the Mayor's Office at 457 East Main St., Suite 300, New Iberia, LA 70560, between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on any working day prior to the bid opening, or delivered at the time of the bid opening. All bids, properly executed and sealed, will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM CST on November 19th, 2025, in the City of New Iberia Council Chambers at City Hall, 457 E. Main St. (3rd floor). A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at the Pepperplex site. Representatives of the Owner and Architect will be present to discuss the project, and all bidders of record are strongly encouraged to attend and participate. Contract documents for the project may be obtained by contacting the office of Paul J. Allain, Architect APAC at 337-365-9493. A deposit of $100.00 is required for one compact disc of contract documents. Prime bidders will receive a full refund of their deposit for the first set of documents if returned within ten days after receipt of bids. For additional sets, the deposit less the actual cost of reproduction will be refunded upon return of the documents within the same timeframe. No hard copy sets of contract documents will be provided for bidding or construction purposes. Official Bid Documents are available as specified.
