Pest Control Services

Background
Nicholls State University, located in Thibodaux, Louisiana, is seeking bids for pest control services to maintain the integrity of its facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest management across various university buildings, including academic and operational support areas, as well as residential facilities. The university emphasizes the importance of compliance with federal and state regulations regarding pest control.

Work Details
The contractor will provide pest control services for a range of pests including roaches, rats, mice, ants, and silverfish. Services will be performed monthly for most buildings and quarterly for residence halls. Specific requirements include:

- Monthly treatments for the President’s Residence, Child Development Center, Alumni House, Barker Hall, Library, Safety & Environmental Health Building, Electrical Substation, and John Folse Culinary Institute.
- Quarterly treatments for residence halls in July, October, January, and April.
- Treatment must be conducted after 5 PM at the Little Colonel Academy due to its status as a daycare facility.
- Each treatment must cover all rooms and common areas within the specified buildings. The contractor is responsible for verifying square footage provided by the university.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will end on June 30, 2026. There is an option to renew the contract for two additional twelve-month periods under the same terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a certificate of insurance naming Nicholls State University as an additional insured. They must also be licensed by the State of Louisiana to perform pest control services. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a signed certification statement with their bid response.
