One (1) Year Contract for The Supply of Trailers for

Background
The Jefferson Parish Department of Fleet Management is seeking to establish a one-year contract for the supply of trailers. This contract is intended to provide necessary trailers on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum number of orders. The items will be utilized across various departments within Jefferson Parish, ensuring that the fleet management needs are met effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will supply various types of trailers including:

1. Tag-a-long lowboy trailer with a 40,000 lbs payload capacity and specific dimensions and features such as adjustable spring assist loading ramps, steel channel headboard, and air brakes.

2. Lowboy machinery trailers requiring tongue replacements and adjustments to meet original configurations.

3. Extra heavy-duty mechanical folding gooseneck lowboy trailers with a capacity of 60 tons and specific design features for enhanced performance.

4. Utility trailers with varying capacities and specifications including electric brakes, spare tire racks, and DOT approved lights.

5. All products must meet or exceed federal and state safety standards and come with a minimum one-year warranty.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award, with delivery timelines specified as within 160 days upon order placement approved by Fleet Management.

Place of Performance
Trailers will be delivered to the Jefferson Parish Fleet Management Department located at 4901 Jefferson Hwy., Suite A, Jefferson, LA 70121.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Louisiana State Dealer’s License and submit a copy with their bid. They are also required to provide proof of insurance coverage within ten days of bid opening. Additionally, bidders must complete various affidavits including Non-Conviction Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Campaign Contribution Affidavit, Debt Disclosures Affidavit, and E-Verify Affidavit as part of their submission.
