One (1) Year Contract for Model Year 2027 Heavy Duty Vehicles

Background
The Jefferson Parish Department of Fleet Management is seeking to establish a one-year contract for the supply of Model Year 2027 Heavy Duty Vehicles. This contract is intended to support the department's operational needs by providing heavy-duty vehicles on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum order quantities.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of various heavy-duty vehicles, specifically:

1. **2027 Heavy Duty Cab and Chassis** (2 units) with specifications including:
- GVWR: 52,000 lbs
- Engine: Diesel, EPA 2024, 330HP @2200 RPM
- Transmission: Automatic, 6-speed with PTO provision
- Front axle capacity: 12,000 lbs; Rear axle capacity: 40,000 lbs
- Tires: Front (2) 11R22.5 Load Range G; Rear (8) 11R22.5 Load Range G
- Delivery within 220 days of order placement with four sets of keys and two sets of manuals.

2. **2027 Cab and Chassis** (3 units) with specifications including:
- GVWR: 33,000 lbs
- Engine: Diesel, EPA 2024, 250HP @2400 RPM
- Transmission: Automatic, 6-speed with PTO provision
- Front axle capacity: 12,000 lbs; Rear axle capacity: 21,000 lbs.

3. **Options** for invoicing purposes based on manufacturer’s cost list.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award. Vehicle deliveries are expected within 220 days after order placement.

Place of Performance
Vehicles will be delivered to the Jefferson Parish Department of Fleet Management located at 4901 Jefferson Hwy., Suite A, Jefferson, LA 70121.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Louisiana State Dealer's License and provide a copy with their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with insurance requirements including Garage Keeper’s Insurance in the amount of $500,000 per occurrence and general liability or garage liability coverage. Bidders must also submit a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount.
