NSU Re-Bid Nursing Alost Hall Portable Ultrasound System

Background
Northwestern State University is seeking bids for the NSU Re-Bid Nursing Alost Hall Portable Ultrasound System.
The goal of this contract is to procure a portable ultrasound system that meets specific performance requirements for use in nursing education and training.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a Portable Ultrasound System with the following specifications:
- Dual active probe ports suitable for simulation and vascular access applications.
- 12-inch high-resolution LCD touchscreen with ≥85° viewing angles.
- Imaging modes including I2D, M-mode, tissue harmonic imaging, color Doppler, and Power Doppler.
- Minimum 16GB internal storage with support for DICOM export and multiple image formats (BMP, JPG, MPEG).
- Connectivity via Wi-Fi and Ethernet; DICOM compliant (worklist, store, print, MPPS).
- Rechargeable battery providing ≥2 hours runtime.
- Power consumption ≤75W at 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
- Support for various transducers: linear (6–15 MHz), curved (5–8 MHz), phased-array (1–5 MHz), and micro-convex (5–8 MHz).
Additionally, a Comprehensive System Warranty and Support for 5 years is required which includes hardware/software maintenance, parts replacement due to normal wear and tear, preventive maintenance visits, system updates within the existing platform, and on-site training for faculty/staff.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be fulfilled within the timeframe specified in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The equipment will be delivered to Northwestern State University at Central Receiving, 998 South Jefferson St., Natchitoches, LA 71497.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Louisiana Contractor's License to perform installation work on campus.
Proof of licensure must be provided within 48 hours of notification.
All components submitted must be new equipment; refurbished or remanufactured items will not be accepted.
