NSU Drone for ARGO Lab

Background
Northwestern State University (NSU) is seeking bids for the procurement of a drone for its Advanced Remote and Geospatial Operations Lab. The purpose of this acquisition is to enhance the university's capabilities in performing LiDAR surveys, which are essential for creating Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), Digital Surface Models (DSMs), and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs). This drone will also be utilized for instructional purposes in various courses related to drone operations and LiDAR data collection training.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying a drone system that includes the following specifications:
- The drone must support interchangeable sensor payloads.
- The vendor is required to provide a total of six batteries, with two included with the airframe and four additional batteries.
- On-site training for the equipment must be provided by the vendor.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon acceptance of the bid and is expected to align with the delivery schedule specified by the vendor, which should be within days after receipt of order.

The equipment will be delivered to Northwestern State University's Central Receiving at 998 South Jefferson St., Natchitoches, LA 71497.
