LSP Asphalt Parking Lot Improvements

Scope of Work:
The project involves the comprehensive renovation of the existing limestone yard and parking area at 437 W. Mills Ave, Breaux Bridge, LA. The work to be completed includes:

• Construction of a new asphalt parking lot
• Installation of a new base course
• Application of asphaltic concrete surfacing
• Execution of all necessary drainage work
• Completion of any additional tasks required to fully realize the project's intent as detailed in the plans and specifications

The solicitation is issued by St. Martin Parish Law Enforcement.

Contract Background:
This contract is for the LSP Asphalt Parking Lot Improvements at the St. Martin Parish Law Enforcement facility located at 437 W. Mills Ave, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.

Contract Requirements:

• Construction period: 120 calendar days
• Liquidated damages: $250.00 per day for late completion; no bonuses for early completion
• Estimated construction budget: $720,000.00
• Pre-Bid Meeting: Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 427 W. Mills Ave, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517

Submission Instructions:
Sealed bids from qualified firms and/or vendors will be received at the St. Martin Parish Law Enforcement Complex (LEC), LEC Conference Room, 4870 N. Main Highway, Saint Martinville, LA 70582, on April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Bids will be opened and read aloud in accordance with LA R.S. 38:2214 (A). Only sealed bids submitted by contractors licensed by the State of Louisiana for the appropriate classification will be accepted. Bids must comply with the Instruction to Bidders, Louisiana Public Bid Law, and the Public Bid Form.
