Background
The Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College is issuing this solicitation for a term contract to provide liquid helium. The contract aims to support the scientific research applications at the LSU Chemistry Department and the Center for Advanced Microstructures & Devices (CAMD). Work Details
The contractor will supply liquid helium in specified quantities and dewars as follows:

1. 750 liters in 250-liter dewars for the Chemistry Department.
2. 950 liters in 100-liter dewars for the Chemistry Department.
3. 100 liters in 60-liter dewars for the Chemistry Department.
4. 2500 liters in 250-liter dewars for CAMD.

All dewars must meet specific requirements including:
- Super insulated design suitable for liquid helium.
- Standard liquid helium transfer port accommodating a stab diameter of ½ inch.
- Lifting hooks for overhead lifting by hoist or crane.
- Electric heaters to pressurize the dewar to 4 PSI.

The supplier must include all rental, delivery, and applicable fees in their quoted pricing, with no additional charges accepted beyond the original bid.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will remain effective until July 15, 2025, with potential renewals or extensions at LSU's discretion.
