Background
The Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) is seeking bids for lawn care and landscaping services at their Lacombe main campus. The goal of this contract is to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the college's outdoor spaces, ensuring a clean and well-kept environment for students and staff. This contract will utilize state general funds for fiscal year 2026.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:

1. Lawn Care Services: Mow, edge, and trim all grass on campus lawn as needed, including clearing sidewalks of mowing debris and removing large trash from lawn areas.

2. Landscaping: Hand weeding beds, applying herbicide, weeding tree beds, laying pine straw, and trimming hedges and trees as needed to prepare for spring/fall seasons. All supplies and equipment will be supplied by the awarded vendor.

3. Brush Hogging: Perform brush hogging in designated field areas as marked on aerial photos provided in the bid documents.

4. Fuel Surcharge/Travel Fee: A fee per service to cover travel costs to NTCC Lacombe Campus located at 65556 Centerpoint Blvd, Lacombe, LA 70445.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. There are options for two additional one-year renewals based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at Northshore Technical Community College located at 65556 Centerpoint Blvd, Lacombe, LA 70445.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a liability insurance certificate prior to being awarded the contract. The insurance must include workers' compensation with a minimum limit of $500,000 per accident; commercial general liability with a minimum limit of $1 million per occurrence; and automobile liability with a minimum limit of $1 million. Additionally, bidders must complete a mandatory site visit form signed by NTCC personnel to be considered for award.
