Lafourche Parish School District-Central Lafourche High Scoreboard Replacement

The work of this contract involves the replacement of the scoreboard at Central Lafourche High School. The project requires the removal of the existing scoreboard and installation of a new one, as specified in the official bid documents. All bid prices must include any applicable shipping charges and must specifically exclude any and all taxes, as local governments are exempt from state and local tax under Act 1029 of 1991, effective September 1, 1991. This solicitation is being issued by the Lafourche Parish School District. The background of this contract is to provide Central Lafourche High School with a new scoreboard, replacing the current unit to ensure continued functionality and improved facilities for the school. Contract requirements include submission of sealed bids by 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Lafourche Parish School District office located at 701 East Seventh Street, Thibodaux, Louisiana. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Per RS37:2163, all bids must be submitted in an envelope displaying the Contractor's license number, except for electronic bids, which may use an authentic digital signature and must include the contractor's license number. It is highly recommended that the envelope be sealed and clearly display on the exterior: the address to the Owner, the name of the project, the contractor's name and address, and a note indicating 'Sealed Bid Enclosed.' Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check drawn on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the Lafourche Parish School Board. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount prior to issuance of a contract to perform.
