Lab Equipment Services - LDH

Background
The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is seeking to establish a service contract for lab equipment services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and support of laboratory equipment used by the department, which is critical for its mission to protect and promote public health in Louisiana.
The Office of State Procurement is responsible for managing this solicitation process.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive lab equipment services, including:
1. Preventative maintenance visits for various equipment models such as ASSY-NEXION 350 D TOP LEVEL, MAS SOFTWARE, CHILLER-1HP 230V60HZ TP QUIET, and prepFAST SC-2 DXi PC3 COMPLETE NexION.
2. Services must include OEM certified technicians, unlimited repair service (non-consumable parts, labor, travel), phone and technical remote support, software updates, and emergency breakdown visits.
3. Priority response within 48-72 hours without estimates for visits will be provided to service plan customers over non-service plan customers.
4. Discounts on training and qualification services are required to be specified by the bidder.
5. Delivery restrictions include entering through the west gate with specific vehicle requirements (no 18-wheelers; maximum clearance of 14' 6" at delivery area).

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will be one year starting from July 1, 2025 or the date of award, whichever is later, with options for two additional 12-month renewals, not exceeding a total of 36 months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Louisiana Department of Health facilities located at 1209 Leesville Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
