Job#2025-14 Additions & Alterations to Griffith Park

Work Requested (Scope of Contract):
The project involves additions and alterations to Griffith Park located in Minden, Louisiana. The work will require the services of a Louisiana licensed general contractor.

Who is Requesting:
The solicitation is issued by the Webster Parish School Board.

Background:
This contract, referenced as Job #2025-14, is part of the School Board's ongoing efforts to improve and upgrade facilities at Griffith Park.

Contract Requirements:

• Bids must be submitted by LA licensed general contractors.
• All bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the base bid and all alternates. Acceptable forms of bid security are certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond from a company licensed in Louisiana.
• Complete bid documents are available from Yeager, Watson & Associates, LLC, 118 S. Trenton St., Ruston, LA 71270-4432, (318) 202-5708, with a $200.00 deposit per set. The deposit is fully refundable to all plan holders who return the documents in good condition within 15 days after bid receipt.

Instructions on Submission:

• Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 30, 2026.
• Bids must be delivered to the School Board's Office at 1442 Sheppard Street, Minden, Louisiana 71055.
• Bids received after the specified date and time will not be considered.
• All submittal packages will be stamped or marked to confirm timely receipt. The bidder is solely responsible for proper mailing or delivery of their bid in compliance with this advertisement.

Additional Information:
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the jobsite (801 Constable St., Minden, Louisiana 71055). Bidders must check in at the office upon arrival.
