Jefferson Davis Parish School Board Chilled and Frozen Meat for SY 2026-2027

Work Requested:
The Jefferson Davis Parish School Board Child Nutrition Department is seeking bids for the supply of the following food items for the 2026-2027 school year:

• Chilled and frozen foods
• Fruit juices
• Bakery items
• Vegetables

Bids submitted will be binding for a 12-month period, from July 1, 2026, through June 1, 2027.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board Child Nutrition Department.

Background:
The School Board is conducting this procurement to secure a reliable source of chilled and frozen foods, fruit juices, bakery items, and vegetables for its Child Nutrition Program. This process ensures compliance with USDA requirements and supports the nutritional needs of students throughout the parish.

Contract Requirements:

• Bids must be submitted using the enclosed bid form, completed in ink.
• The following USDA-required forms must be completed and returned with the bid: Debarment, Lobbying, and Price Determination Forms.
• All vendors must adhere to the General Rules, Conditions, and Instructions for Bidders.
• Bids must be signed by a duly authorized representative.
• Any notations on the outside of the envelope intended to amend the bid will not be considered.

Submission Instructions:

• Bids and required documentation must be sealed and the envelope clearly marked: CHILLED AND FROZEN FOODS FRUIT JUICES, BAKERY ITEMS, VEGETABLES.
• Bid opening will take place on April 14, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Food Service Warehouse, 1627 Wilbert D. Rochelle Avenue (formerly S. Cutting Ave), Jennings, LA 70546.
• Mailed bids should be sent to: Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, P.O. Box 640, Jennings, LA 70546.
• Bids will be opened publicly for reading and tabulation, and will be approved by the School Board.
