Background
St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking proposals for the JC MTI System to update the existing security system at the Justice Center located at 701 N. Columbia St., Covington, LA 70433. The goal of this RFP is to enhance security measures through an upgraded MTI System, ensuring that the facility meets current safety standards.
Work Details
The selected provider will be responsible for all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to update the existing MTI System. Key tasks include:
1. Delivery Scheduling and Handling:
- Mandatory site visit required.
- Coordination with Facilities Management and Sheriff’s office for scheduling updates and informing of downtime.
- On-site presence during delivery to examine components and reject any damaged or outdated items.
- Submission of a list of all on-site personnel for background checks by St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.
2. Technical Scope and Hardware Upgrades:
- Review existing security systems and develop a detailed design and upgrade plan for approval by the St. Tammany Technology department.
- Integration of existing cameras into the updated MTI system.
- Installation of new MTI computers, touch screen controls, monitors, and removal/disposal of old equipment including locking boards, intercoms, lighting boards, PLCs, paging systems, etc.
3. Testing and Validation:
- Conduct functional, performance, and security testing post-installation.
4. Training and Support:
- Provide training on operating the new system along with documentation for maintenance and warranties for all installed equipment.
Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP) issued by the Parish.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at St. Tammany Parish Justice Center located at 701 N. Columbia St., Covington, LA 70443.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must submit a W-9 if they have not previously done business with the Parish. The proposal must include evidence of signature authority from corporate officers or partners as applicable.
