Jail Water Heaters - Building A & Building E

Background
St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking a contractor to provide labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary for the removal and replacement of water heaters at the St. Tammany Parish Jail located at 1200 Champagne Street, Covington, LA 70433. The goal of this contract is to ensure the jail has functional and efficient water heating systems in both Building A and Building E.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:

1. **Building A - Laundry Room Water Heaters:**
- Disconnect and remove two existing PVI water heaters from the mechanical room.
- Procure and install two new PVI water heaters, Model 100L 225A-PVX (or equivalent) with standard controls.
- Install new shut-off valves in hot piping and gas piping for each water heater.
- Provide water heater start-up, operational placement, and staff training on proper operations.

2. **Building E - No. 3 Water Heater:**
- Disconnect one No.3 PVI water heater in Building E.
- Procure and install one new PVI water heater, Model 120L250A-MXG (or equivalent) with standard controls.
- Install new shut-off valves in hot piping and gas piping for each water heater.
- Provide water heater start-up, operational placement, and staff training on proper operations.

3. Obtain all necessary permits and ensure all work conforms to applicable building codes.
4. Provide a one-year warranty on all equipment, parts, and installation.

Period of Performance
The contract term will begin upon the Parish President's signature or written approval and will terminate upon satisfactory completion of all services as described in the contract.

The work will be performed at St. Tammany Parish Jail located at 1200 Champagne Street, Covington, LA 70433.
