labor, materials and equipment necessary to repair and install fencing on or within NOAB properties. The work may consists of repair, removal and installation of fencing and gates, ecology block barrier, clearing, grubbing, grading, erosion control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and other related items, all located on or within NOAB properties. Construction equipment to be used includes manual post-driver or backhoe with mechanical post-driver and other manual labor construction equipment. Construction materials include fence posts, designated linear feet of fencing, mesh, wire ties and possible cement used to set posts. CONTRACTORS Contractors shall be qualified to construct, install, maintain, alter, extend or repair fencing (that may include wood, chain link, vinyl, pre-cast concrete, and other various materials). Repairs and services made by the Contractor shall be done so in compliance with safety, zoning and building codes. Please see Exhibit 1 Technical Specifications, for further details on material requirements. SPECIFICATIONS Repairs, replacements and parts are to include, but shall not be limited, to chain link, vinyl, wood and stockade fencing. The Contractor must be able to be provided all types of fencing used on the airfield. Any part, repair or replacement failures during the warranty period will be replaced at no cost to the NOAB. The successful Contractor shall have no less than 3 -years of experience providing prompt service, installation, and repair. The Contractor's service facility shall be located within 50 miles of the airport. All emergency repair and/or replacements requests must be responded to within two (2)-hours unless otherwise expressly by the NOAB. The NOAB Airfield Maintenance Department shall contact the Contractor to schedule non-emergency repair services. Services required involve the installation of chain link fences and the repair of existing chain link fence on NOAB which may be partially buried up to 24 inches. Work to be completed include, but are not limited to, demolition, site clearing, and removal of any encumbrances that obstruct the installation. The Contractor shall supply all labor, material, and equipment to complete requested fence services. The Contractor shall clean up the area where the work was performed and Contractor shall remove any debris generated by any fence work performed from NOAB premises. At no time, will the Contractor discard debris into any NOAB trash bins/containers. The Contractor shall post safety signs and barricades as required to ensure work areas are secure and safe at all times. Contractor shall field verify all quantities to be used prior to initiating work. Contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused towards other areas during the completion of fence repair work.
