Background
The City of New Orleans, through the New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB), is seeking to engage a qualified contractor to provide window washing and canopy cleaning services for the North Terminal facilities at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The goal of this contract is to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the airport's glass surfaces, which includes both interior and exterior glazing.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services:
1. Cleaning all exterior glazing once annually, with an option for a second cleaning at the discretion of the Airport. This includes approximately 191,000 sq. ft. of terminal and concourse glazing, 9,000 sq. ft. of skylights, and 15,000 sq. ft. of double-sided canopy glazing.
2. Cleaning all interior glazing once annually, with an option for a second cleaning at the discretion of the Airport. This includes approximately 191,000 sq. ft. of interior terminal and concourse glazing, 12,000 sq. ft. of skylights and elevator shaft combined, and additional specific areas totaling around 11,840 sq. ft., including administrative offices and sky clubs.
3. Cleaning exterior canopies at arrivals and departures curbs once annually with an option for a second cleaning; arrival canopy approx. 28,000 sq. ft., departure canopy approx. 24,000 sq. ft.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year with up to four one-year renewal options available at the exclusive option of NOAB.

Services will be performed at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport located in Kenner, Louisiana.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including: a minimum SLDBE participation goal of 35%, submission of a bid bond or security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of bid amount, proof of authority for signatory on bid documents, and insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents including workers' compensation and general liability insurance with minimum coverage amounts.
