INVITATION TO BID - Ascension Parish Sheriff 500KW Training Center Generator

The work requested under this contract involves the provision and installation of a 500 KW Diesel Generator with an aluminum enclosure fuel tank and an ASCO 300 ATS at the Ascension Parish Training Facility. The scope of work includes the removal of the existing emergency electrical power generation system equipment, such as the current emergency electrical engine generator set, all associated appurtenances, the existing automatic transfer switch (ATS), and the existing remote annunciator panel. These components will be disconnected by the project electrical subcontractor. The contractor is responsible for furnishing and setting in place all equipment required for a new, fully operational emergency electrical power-generation system. This includes the emergency engine-generator set (genset), a lockable, 200 MPH wind-rated, Level-3 sound-attenuating aluminum enclosure fuel tank, and the ASCO 300 ATS. The vendor must also provide non-proprietary software and a programming cable for the controller. Additionally, the vendor will supply a Motorola SDM 3000 device with an interface to the generator and ASCO ATS controller to enable remote system start and monitoring. All quoted pricing must be adhered to without exception, including freight and installation costs. Delivery and unloading at the Ascension Parish Training Facility are required as part of the contract. Only factory-authorized distributors of the emergency generator system and components manufacturers are eligible to bid, and all bids must meet or exceed the specified requirements. The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Department is the requesting agency for this contract. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory site walk scheduled for August 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at 9094 St Landry Road, Gonzales, LA 70737. All submissions must comply with the outlined specifications and requirements.
