Iberia Medical Center Cooling Tower Replacement

The work requested involves the replacement of the cooling tower at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, Louisiana. Iberia Medical Center is the entity requesting these services, with the project taking place at their main campus in New Iberia, Louisiana. The background of this contract centers on the need to upgrade or replace the existing cooling tower to ensure continued and efficient operation of the medical center's facilities. Contractors bidding on this project must be licensed under LA-R.S.37:2150-2163 for the classification of MECHANICAL. All contractors and/or subcontractors whose bid exceeds Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) must also be licensed under R.S. 37:2151-2163 of Louisiana Law. Printed copies are not available from the Designer, but electronic copies may be requested by emailing adginc@adginc.org. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM CST on July 8th, 2025, at Iberia Medical Center Main Campus Classroom A, after which bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic bids submitted via www.centralbidding.com are also acceptable, as permitted by Act 590 amended Title 38:2212. Any bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Each proposal must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract documents if awarded. The bid security of all bidders, except the three lowest, will be returned promptly after the canvas of bids. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 25th, 2025.
