Background
This solicitation is for Foundation Repairs for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety (DPS) located at the JESTC New Shoot House, 1400 West Irene Road, Zachary, LA 70791. The goal of this contract is to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the facility through necessary foundation repairs.
Work Details
The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials to repair the foundation of the JESTC Shoot House as per Attachment C - Specifications. The work includes but is not limited to: conducting a jobsite visit prior to bidding, providing a completed Jobsite Verification Form or a signed letter from an agency representative confirming the visit, and ensuring compliance with all specifications outlined in the attachments.
A mandatory jobsite visit is required prior to bid submission.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by April 29, 2026.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the DPS Office of State Police located at 1400 W. Irene Rd, Zachary, LA 70791.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the LaGov vendor system. A Contractor's License Number in appropriate classifications such as Building Construction must be included on the bid envelope for projects exceeding $50,000. Additionally, a bid security of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany bids over this threshold.
Compliance with civil rights laws and ADA accessibility requirements is mandatory.
