Exterior Cleaning & Pressure Washing

Background
Delgado Community College is seeking bids for a service contract (40006-74) for exterior cleaning and pressure washing across multiple campuses. The College aims to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of its facilities, which includes buildings, windows, walkways, sidewalks, and other surfaces. The work will be performed on an as-needed basis at various locations including City Park Campus, Westbank Campus, Maritime Center, Sidney Collier Site, and River City Site.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary materials, equipment, tools, and labor for exterior cleaning and pressure washing. This includes:
- Cleaning of exterior walls, windows, entrances, walkways, sidewalks, parking lots, and building entrances.
- Removal of stains caused by biological growth (algae, fungi), pollutants, rust stains from irrigation systems, and other unusual stains.
- The contractor must use a primer mixture of 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorate and water with an approved surfactant before pressure washing.
- All work must comply with safety regulations and include proper signage and barriers to protect the site.
- A written estimate must be provided for each project before work begins.

Period of Performance
The contract term will begin on July 1, 2025 and run through June 30, 2026 with options to renew for up to two additional twelve-month periods.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at various Delgado Community College campuses located in New Orleans, Louisiana including:
- City Park Campus (615 City Park Avenue)
- Westbank Campus (2600 General Meyer Ave)
- Maritime Center (13200 Old Gentilly Road)
- Sidney Collier Site (3727 Louisa Street)
- River City Site (709 Churchill Parkway).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed to operate in Louisiana and have at least eight years of relevant experience. They must provide trained workers and a qualified job superintendent. Bidders are required to submit a completed indemnification agreement along with their bid. No part of the contract may be subcontracted out.
