Erie Street Park

Background
The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) is seeking bids for the construction of Erie Street Park, which will be BREC's newest small neighborhood park. The park will focus on green infrastructure, utilizing bio-retention planters to capture stormwater on site and provide shade and seasonal variety to the site.

Work Details
Erie Street Park will include a variety of pavement and surface types including concrete, permeable pavers, artificial turf, decomposed granite, small boardwalk, and mulch.
The project also involves the construction of bio-retention planters with Louisiana native trees, shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers.
Additionally, the park will feature a cistern element listed as an Alternate.

Period of Performance
Bids for electronic or paper bids will be received until 2PM CT on August 8th, 2024.
The bid documents are available for purchase at the BREC Purchasing Department and in electronic format at www.bidexpress.com.
The bid opening will take place at the BREC Administration Building.
