DOTD Section 45 Waste Disposal Contract

Background
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking to establish a contract for waste disposal services. The mission of DOTD includes maintaining the state's transportation infrastructure. This contract aims to support their Traffic Services Section by providing necessary waste management solutions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Waste Disposal Services, including:

1. Monthly rental fee for one (1) 30-cubic yard roll-off container for regular trash and road debris, approximately 22ft long and 8ft wide with a door that swings open.
2. Disposal fee per ton for the 30-cubic yard roll-off container.
3. Haul rate fee for one (1) 30-cubic yard roll-off container, with pickups scheduled as needed.
4. Two (2) 8-cubic yard containers with pickups scheduled once per week.
5. One (1) 4-cubic yard container with pickups scheduled once per week.
6. One (1) 8-cubic yard container with pickups scheduled once per week.
7. Extra pickups as needed.
8. Delivery/retrieval fee per container for new containers on site or retrieval of old containers.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for twelve (12) months starting from July 1, 2025, or from the date of award, whichever is later. There is an option to extend for two additional twelve-month periods at the same prices, not exceeding thirty-six (36) months in total.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Traffic Services Section located at 7686 Tom Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in LaPAC prior to bid submission and must comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding civil rights and disabilities laws. Public liability insurance and workmen’s compensation must be carried by the contractor, with a certificate of insurance provided within ten days after notification.
