Background
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of specific motor and brake systems.
The goal is to acquire proprietary equipment that meets exact specifications for operational efficiency and safety in transportation infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of the following items:
1. **Assembly, Motor and Brake** - NORD 40 HP 240V-3 Phase Vector Duty Motor, IP66 TEFC Enclosure, 400 NM Power Off Brake with PMG500 Fast Acting Rectifier and Hand Release, Bi-Metallic Thermal Switches, Incremental Rear-Mounted Encoder 5-30 VDC, Motor Position 026/FL 350, NORD Drive Systems, Model 225RP/4 CUS BRE 400 HL TW IG13P (Quantity: 2 EA).
2. **Assembly, Brake** - NORD 400 NM Power Off Brake with PMG500 Fast Acting Rectifier and Hand Release, NORD Drive Systems, Model BRE 400 W 205 P FDW HD HL (Quantity: 2 EA).
3. **Disc, Brake, Static** - NORD 400 NM, NORD Drive Systems, Model BR-PAD HD P 400NM (Quantity: 2 EA).
4. **Rectifier, Brake** - Fast Acting, NORD Drive Systems, Model PMG500-S (Quantity: 2 EA).
Note: No substitutes are acceptable; only bidders meeting the exact specifications will be considered for award.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to conclude by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the Department of Transportation & Development at Eng&Op-Lake Charles/Dist07 located at 5827 Hwy 90 E, Lake Charles, LA 70615.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be appropriately registered with the Louisiana Secretary of State if they are a Louisiana or foreign LLC or corporation.
Additionally, bidders must provide evidence of authority to sign and submit bids as per R.S. 39:1594(C)(4).
All products must conform to applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
