Background
The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works is seeking information from qualified vendors to inform the development of a future Request for Proposals (RFP) for comprehensive parking enforcement (ticketing) and parking meter management services. The City aims to modernize its operations by gathering insights on current technology capabilities, service delivery models, contract structures, and performance metrics in the industry.

Work Details
The RFI invites responses regarding two main service areas: parking enforcement services and parking meter management services. Vendors may provide information on either or both areas. Period of Performance
The RFI was released on February 16, 2026, with responses due by April 7, 2026. The timeline for implementation will be discussed in future proposals based on vendor feedback.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of New Orleans, specifically targeting areas with existing metered parking and residential parking permit zones.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with a 35% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goal as per Executive Order MJL 10-05. Additionally, all data generated under the contract must remain the property of the City of New Orleans.
