Background
The City of Alexandria, Louisiana's Community Development Department (CmDv) is soliciting proposals for professional planning consulting services and technical assistance related to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) entitlement programs, specifically for CDBG, HOME, HOME-ARP, IDIS, and HEROS.

9. Management of sub-recipients involved in funded projects.
10. Compliance assistance during audits by local, state or federal agencies.
Period of Performance
The contract will be for a two-year term with the option to renew annually for up to two additional years, aligning with the Five Year Consolidated Plan expiring on April 30, 2030.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must maintain all necessary licenses and insurance as specified in Exhibit A, including Commercial General Liability ($1 million per occurrence), Automobile Liability ($1 million per accident), and Workers’ Compensation as required by Louisiana law.
Additionally, bidders must confirm they are not listed on the Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) and comply with the City’s AFEAT Program encouraging participation from minority or disadvantaged business enterprises.
