Work Requested:
The City of St. Gabriel is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the Sunshine Event Center. The scope of work includes:

• Construction of a Pre-Engineered Event Center Building
• Associated site development for an area with an approximate ground footprint of 6,800 square feet

The solicitation is issued by the City of St. Gabriel (the "Owner").

Background:
This contract involves the development of a new event center facility to serve the community of St. Gabriel. The project will be located at 5035 Iberville Street, St. Gabriel, LA 70776.

Contract Requirements:

• All bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be eligible to submit a bid.
• The pre-bid conference will be held on April 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel City Hall, 5035 Iberville Street, St. Gabriel, LA 70776.
• Potential bidders are responsible for visiting the job site to assess the location and site conditions before submitting a bid.
• Plans and specifications will be distributed as hard copies, in accordance with LA R.S. 38:2212, and are available through the office of the Architect.

Instructions on Submission:

• Sealed bids must be addressed to the City of St. Gabriel and delivered to 5035 Iberville Street, St. Gabriel, LA.
• Bids must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on May 15, 2026. Any bids received after this deadline will not be considered.
• The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on May 6, 2026, at St. Gabriel City Hall, 5035 Iberville Street, LA 70776.
