Campus Moving Services (REBID) 25-26 FY

Background
Delgado Community College is seeking bids for moving and relocation services for commercial office furniture and equipment across its various campuses and to the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency in Baton Rouge, LA. The contract aims to facilitate the efficient movement of office materials throughout the fiscal year 2025-2026.

Work Details
The contractor will provide moving and relocation services for items including desks, chairs, electronics, office equipment, and general office materials. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis without a minimum purchase guarantee. Locations include City Park Campus, West Bank Campus, Sidney Collier Campus, Maritime Fire & Training Center, and River City Campus.

The contractor must provide all necessary trucks, equipment, supplies, labor, and supervision for these tasks. Specific requirements include:
1. All moving must be coordinated with Delgado’s Property Control Manager.
2. Personnel must sign in and out at each location.
3. All vehicles used must be company-owned and insured.
4. A detailed report of services completed per location is required.
5. Bids must include costs for labor rates (straight time, overtime, urgent) and truck sizes as specified in the bid form.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Delgado Community College locations in New Orleans, LA, including:
- City Park Campus (615 City Park Ave)
- West Bank Campus (2600 General Meyer Ave)
- Sidney Collier Campus (3727 Louisa Street)
- Maritime Fire & Training Center (13200 Old Gentilly Road)
- River City Campus (709 Churchill Parkway).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have been in business for at least five years providing similar commercial moving services. They must be registered with the Louisiana Public Service Commission and possess an operating common carrier certificate or contract carrier permit. All vehicles used must be owned by the bidding company and properly insured. Bidders are required to submit references from similar projects completed within the last five years.
