Background
The City of New Orleans, through its Chief Administrative Office (CAO), is seeking to enhance its recruitment efforts by engaging a qualified firm to assist in filling specialized and leadership positions across various city departments. This initiative aims to address ongoing staffing needs for positions requiring specific technical expertise and leadership capabilities, particularly in the Department of Public Works, the Department of Safety and Permits, and the Department of Property Management.

The goal is to expand the pool of qualified candidates and support efficient hiring processes while ensuring compliance with civil service regulations.

Work Details
The selected business consultant will provide recruitment services for professional positions within the City of New Orleans. The consultant will be responsible for:
1) Identifying and sourcing candidates for specialized roles that are difficult to fill;
2) Developing strategies for sourcing diverse candidates;
3) Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with the City's specific needs;
4) Conducting nationwide searches for executive leadership, engineers, inspectors, and other technical roles;
5) Supporting efficient hiring processes while adhering to civil service requirements.

The consultant must also comply with a DBE contract goal of 35 percent.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to continue as needed to fulfill the recruitment goals outlined in the RFP. Specific timelines for deliverables will be established in the contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily within the City of New Orleans, Louisiana.
