Background
The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in New Orleans is seeking bids for a service contract focused on the maintenance of autoclaves and sterilizers. This initiative aims to ensure the proper functioning and safety of these critical medical devices used in healthcare settings, aligning with LSUHSC's mission to provide high-quality health services.

Work Details
The contract requires the service provider to furnish all necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for preventive maintenance and repair services on autoclaves and sterilizers. Specific tasks include:

1. Performing routine preventive maintenance as per manufacturer specifications.
2. Conducting repairs as needed to ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Providing all necessary Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous materials used on-site.
4. Ensuring that all tools and equipment are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
5. Maintaining a safe working environment by following OSHA regulations and LSUHSC safety guidelines.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for a duration of 12 months, with options for renewal up to four additional 12-month periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the LSU Health Sciences Center located at 1900 Gravier St, New Orleans, LA 70112.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of current licenses or certifications required by the State of Louisiana or local authorities for personnel performing work under this contract. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize diverse businesses as subcontractors or suppliers.
