Armed Security Guard Services - LDH

Background
The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is seeking to establish a service contract for Armed Security Guard Services. This initiative aims to enhance the safety and security of its facilities and personnel.

The Office of State Procurement is responsible for managing this solicitation process, which includes public bid openings and vendor participation.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Armed Security Guard Services for the LDH Office of Public Health. The services include:
- Providing armed security personnel at designated locations.
- Ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property.
- Responding to emergencies and incidents as they arise.
- Maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized access.
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises.

The contract specifies a quantity of 2,400 hours for standard services and an additional 300 hours for overtime services as detailed in Attachment B - Specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, or upon the date of award, whichever is later, and will conclude on June 30, 2026. There is an option for renewal for two additional 12-month periods, with a total contract duration not exceeding 36 months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Louisiana Department of Health located at 1676 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70112.
