A26-0726 OEM SRP & MAS for KOHLER GENERATORS

Background
The City of Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, is seeking bids for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Standard Replacement Parts and Manufacturer Authorized Service for Kohler Generators. This procurement aims to establish firm pricing for materials, supplies, and services necessary for the maintenance of Kohler generators used by the City-Parish. The goal is to ensure timely access to parts and services while adhering to quality standards.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of OEM standard replacement parts and authorized service for Kohler generators. Bidders must provide:

1. A vendor/dealer labor rate for work performed at the contractor’s facility.
2. A restocking charge percentage for KOHLER GENERATORS parts.
3. A discount percentage off the current manufacturer price list for KOHLER GENERATORS parts.
4. Miscellaneous charges for expedited delivery of parts, F.O.B. Destination, prepaid and allowed on orders of stock parts.
5. All items must be bid; a blank space or N/A may cause the bid to be deemed non-responsive.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon award and will remain in effect for one year, with potential extensions based on mutual agreement between the contractor and the City-Parish.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the contractor's facility located within a 50-mile radius from the intersection of Tom Drive and Wooddale Boulevard in East Baton Rouge Parish. Deliveries will be made to the Central Garage at 333 Chippewa Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized dealers of Kohler products and provide a letter from the manufacturer confirming their status. They must also maintain proper insurance coverage for any City-Parish equipment while at their facility. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize certified Small, Minority, or Women-owned businesses as subcontractors.
