Background
The City of Kenner, Louisiana, is issuing a contract for improvements to the sewer lift stations located at 42nd & Lake Trail and 31st & Loyola.
The project aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the sewer system in the area, aligning with the city's commitment to maintaining public infrastructure and ensuring environmental compliance.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Replacement of two 4-inch pumps at the 31st and Loyola lift station.
- Installation of a duplex control panel, level controls/floats, piping, valves, and bypass pumping.
- Wet well cleaning at the 31st and Loyola lift station.
- Decommissioning of the existing lift station at 42nd and Lake Trail.
- Installation of a new gravity sewer line.
- Additional tasks include demolition, earth excavation, installation of ductile iron and PVC pipes, chain link fencing, landscaping, bypass pumping with controls and noise reduction, ADA ramps installation, site cleanup, and abandonment of a 4-inch sewer force main with flowable fill.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to complete all work within 180 calendar days from the commencement date specified in the contract.
