2025 Itb Sunset Point Fishing Pier Demolition

The City of Mandeville is seeking bids for the demolition of the Sunset Point Fishing Pier under A/E Project No. 2418-D and COM Project No. 100.25.002-D. The scope of work includes the removal and lawful disposal of the existing fishing pier, including all piles, deck and structure, shelter, roof, lighting, conduits and conductors, water piping, benches, concrete bulk debris, concrete ramp, capping onshore buried utilities, and all miscellaneous and supporting items necessary to complete the demolition. All labor, materials, supervision, and related work required for this project must be provided by the contractor. The City of Mandeville is the requesting agency for this project. This contract may be fully or partially funded by the FEMA Public Assistance program. Contractors are required to refer to the Contract Documents, as amended, for all applicable federal contract clauses and provisions that will govern the agreement between the City and the selected contractor. Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of the Purchasing Agent at City Hall, 3101 East Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70448, no later than 11:00 A.M., local time, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud after 11:00 A.M. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. A NON-mandatory pre-bid conference will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Mandeville Department of Public Works, 1100 Mandeville High Blvd., Mandeville, LA 70471 (985-624-3169). Drawings and specifications are available for inspection at the Department of Public Works Director's Office at the same address.
