2025-23 Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs at Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies

The work requested under this contract consists of Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs at Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies, Project No. 2025-23. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Repairing damages caused by Hurricane Ida at the specified school facility
• All work as detailed in the project plans and specifications

The Jefferson Parish School Board, through its Facilities Department, is requesting sealed bids for this project. The Facilities Department is located at 4600 River Road, Administration Annex, 1st Floor, Marrero, LA 70072.

This contract is being issued in response to damages sustained during Hurricane Ida at Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies. The intent is to restore the facility to its pre-storm condition in accordance with the provided plans and specifications.

Contract requirements include:

• Submission of sealed bids by 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 12, 2026
• Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above address
• No bids may be withdrawn for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time
• The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities

Plans, specifications, and additional information may be obtained from Studio West Design & Architecture, LLC., 2340 Dauphine St., New Orleans, LA 70117, Phone: 504-380-9880. There is a $200.00 deposit per set for hard copies and a non-refundable $25.00 fee for an electronic set on compact disk. The full deposit for one set will be refunded to each General Contractor upon return of the documents, complete, in good condition, and unmarked, within ten (10) days after the bid opening. For additional sets or for documents issued to subcontractors or material suppliers, the cost of reproduction will be deducted from the deposit, with the balance refunded under the same conditions.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. at Metairie Academy for Advanced Studies, 201 Metairie Rd., Metairie, LA 70005. This meeting will allow prospective bidders to review the job scope and site conditions.

Sealed proposals must be clearly marked on the envelope cover.
