2023-27 Hurricane Ida Damage Repair at Marrero Middle School

The work requested under this contract involves the repair of damages caused by Hurricane Ida at Marrero Middle School, identified as Project No. 2023-27. The scope of work includes all necessary repairs to restore the facility to its pre-storm condition as specified in the project documents. The Jefferson Parish School Board, through its Facilities Department, is soliciting sealed bids for this project. The Facilities Department is located at 4600 River Road, Administration Annex, 1st Floor, Marrero, LA 70072. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bids may be withdrawn for at least thirty (30) days following the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Plans, specifications, and additional information can be obtained from Grace Hebert Curtis Architects, LLC, located at 601 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130, phone number 504-522-2050. A deposit of $200.00 per set is required for a hard copy of the documents, and a non-refundable fee of $25.00 is required for an electronic set on compact disk. General Contractors will receive a full refund of the deposit for one set of documents, provided the documents are returned complete, in good condition, and unmarked within ten (10) days after the bid opening. For additional sets or for documents issued to subcontractors or material suppliers, the cost for reproduction will be deducted from the deposit, and the balance refunded, subject to the same return conditions. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Marrero Middle School, 4100 7th St., Marrero, LA 70072, to allow prospective bidders to review the job scope and site conditions. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked on the envelope cover with the bidder's name, address, and telephone number; the State License Number of the Contractor if the bid exceeds $50,000.00; and the statement Proposal for (project name and number).
