Septic Tank Services - Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Department of Parks, is issuing this solicitation to establish a contract for septic tank services at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. The goal is to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with environmental regulations regarding sewage treatment at the park.

Work Details
The contractor will provide sludge removal and hauling services for the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park Sewage Treatment Plant. The estimated sludge removal is approximately 3,000 gallons per month, with services to be performed within 72 hours upon request. The contractor is expected to perform these services a minimum of 7 times and a maximum of 12 times annually.

All necessary equipment (including trucks, storage tanks, pumps, chemicals, hoses, etc.) must be provided by the vendor. The vendor must ensure that all equipment meets applicable regulatory mandates and that all costs associated with licenses, permits, and transportation are included in the unit cost per gallon of sludge removed.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will be for one year from the date of award, with an option to extend for one additional year upon mutual agreement.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be qualified, licensed, and insured entities with a minimum of five years' experience in providing similar services. All bidders must comply with Kentucky's procurement laws and regulations. Additionally, bidders must register in the Commonwealth eProcurement System prior to submitting their bids.
