Ryle High School Fieldhouse Addition

Background
The Boone County Board of Education is seeking proposals from qualified Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms for design services related to the Ryle High School Fieldhouse Addition and Renovation project. The goal is to enhance the existing athletic fieldhouse, which includes HVAC and dehumidification improvements, as well as expanding facilities for weight training and office space. This project aims to support the educational mission of Boone County Schools by providing improved facilities for student athletes.

Work Details
The project involves an addition and renovation to the existing athletic fieldhouse at Ryle High School. Specific work includes:

1) Expanding the weight room area;
2) Adding offices and restrooms;
3) Upgrading the HVAC system to include dehumidification;
4) Replacing fencing for both softball and baseball fields.

The design must comply with Kentucky Department of Education standards and be completed by summer 2027.

Period of Performance
The project schedule is negotiable, but completion is desired no later than summer 2027.

Ryle High School, Boone County, Kentucky.

Bidder Requirements
Responding A/E firms must have experience in designing educational buildings, maintain professional liability insurance, and provide experienced staff. Proposals must comply with KRS 45A.455 regarding conflicts of interest.
