RoW Mow Trim and Litter Mountain Parkway

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for a Master Agreement Contract for the mowing, trimming, and litter removal of roadside turf along the Mountain Parkway in Districts 7 and 10. This contract aims to maintain the aesthetics and safety of highway right-of-way areas, which is crucial for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's mission to ensure safe and efficient transportation across the state.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. **RoW Mow and Trim**: 2421 acres of rights-of-way mowing and trimming along the Mountain Parkway, including roadsides to fences or barriers, interchange quadrants, and full-width medians. The mowing height will be maintained at 6-10 inches.

2. **Litter Removal**: 1262.5 miles of litter disposal and removal along designated routes.

3. **Traffic Control**: Maintain and control traffic per MUTCD specifications during mowing and litter cycles, with a total of 5 cycles planned throughout the contract period.

Period of Performance
The contract will cover three full mowing cycles during the 2025 season:
- The first cycle will begin in late May and conclude by mid to late June.
- The second cycle will start in early July and finish by early August.
- The third cycle will commence in mid to late October and wrap up by mid-late November.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed along various routes in Districts 7 and 10 of Kentucky, specifically on the Mountain Parkway.
