RFB-59-26 DMA Building 162 Roof Replacement BNGC

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is issuing this solicitation for the roof replacement project at Building 162, Boone National Guard Center, under the Department of Military Affairs. The goal of this contract is to enhance the integrity and functionality of the existing roof system, ensuring it meets current standards and provides adequate protection against environmental elements.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for re-covering the existing 2-ply modified bitumen asphalt roof with a new cover board and a new 2-ply modified bitumen asphalt roof system.

The scope includes removing wrinkles from the existing roof prior to installation. Additionally, all new prefinished metal coping caps, gutters, downspouts, metal roof splashes, flashings, accessories, and terminations are to be included in the project.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by 08/20/2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Building 162, Boone National Guard Center located at 100 Minuteman Pkwy, Frankfort, KY 40601.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register in the Commonwealth eProcurement System via the Vendor Self Service (VSS) System.

All bids must be submitted electronically; hard copies or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Bidders are also required to attach the Official Bid Document and Bid Bond (if required) as a single combined attachment when submitting their electronic bids.
