RFB-54-26 Facilities Exterior Lighting Improvements KSP Pst4

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is issuing this solicitation for the Facilities Exterior Lighting Improvements at the Kentucky State Police Post 4 located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The goal of this contract is to enhance the exterior lighting systems to improve safety and visibility, adhering to relevant building codes and standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials and perform all work as described in the specifications and drawings. The project includes installing exterior lighting systems controlled by the IECC with a rugged automatic control system. This will involve using exterior building and pole-mounted lighting equipped with full cutoff LED area lights and automatic photocell controls for dusk-to-dawn operation.

All installations must comply with the Kentucky Building Code, Americans with Disabilities Act, International Building Code, and National Electrical Code. A 48-hour notification is required for any outage of electrical or mechanical systems.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by August 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Kentucky State Police Post 4 located at 954 Cameron Ponder Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the Commonwealth eProcurement System via the Vendor Self Service (VSS) System. All bids must be submitted electronically; emailed or hard copies will not be accepted.

Bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit scheduled for September 4, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. Eastern Time.
