Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is issuing this solicitation for the refurbishment of the Kenlake Structure at Cherokee Richard Lewis Lodge in Aurora, Kentucky. The project aims to restore and repair structural elements to ensure safety and preserve historical features. Work Details
The project involves surgical structural repairs and restoration, including:
- Selective demolition and replacement of columns;
- Selective demolition and replacement of masonry;
- Mass shoring and resupport of existing timber beams and trusses on new columns;
- Architectural carpentry work requiring skilled craftsmanship;
- Removal and restoration of historical windows, doors, and trim;
- Select removal and reinstallation of electrical circuits and fixtures as required;
- Complete painting of exterior and new interior work;
- Minor grading, seeding, straw application, and installation of drainage lines at the exterior.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by 05/15/2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 974 Cherokee Ln., Aurora, Kentucky.

Bidder Requirements
