RFB-156-25 DOC EKCC Water Tower Rehabilitation

Background
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is issuing this solicitation for the rehabilitation of the water tower at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex.

The mission of this project is to ensure the integrity and functionality of a critical water storage facility, which supports both daily operations and fire suppression needs for the correctional facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Blast cleaning the interior and exterior of the 1.5 Million Gallon Water Storage Tank to SSPC SP 10 standards.
2. Performing various repairs on the tank as specified in the scope of work.
3. Repainting the tank after repairs are completed.
4. Providing temporary pumping and storage solutions to meet the Owner's daily water needs during rehabilitation, while ensuring fire suppression capabilities are maintained throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the bid documents.

A site visit is scheduled for December 19, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex located at 200 Road to Justice, West Liberty, KY 41472.
